Yet another delightful red from 2010. The Jack Cabernet Sauvignon is a 78 percent cabernet sauvignon blend from Saviah Cellars in the Walla Walla Valley. Coaxing a great cab in the state of Washington, you are truly at the mercy of the individual year - and while 2010 was a great one - my hat is off to Saviah Cellars.
Anticipate savoring an indulgent cheese plate along side this fruit-forward wine with notes of licorice and a mineral, earthy base.
